Spring lagged like a slow download, but it’s finally booted up — and Chicago’s running hot.
This weekend, Fly Nerd Group hit the city on a vinyl hunt for Record Store Day, spinning through dusty crates and sonic treasures. Then we dipped over to C2E2, where comics, anime dreams, cosplay flexes, and toy hustles painted the scene crazy.
We vibed with Peter Weller as he broke down the soul and sorrow of ROBOCOP, and stood in the presence of comic book royalty, the legendary Denys Cowan.
